With spring playing hide and seek with us (sorry – couldn’t resist!), we’re not about to give up our shearling coats and boots. And the faux fur throws are staying put, as well. We thought by now we’d be sprucing our homes up for spring but Mother Nature is definitely not cooperating with more snow on the way tomorrow. On the bright side, we can push off spring cleaning for a while and spend our weekends cozying up to the fireplace after we shovel the walk and driveway. After all, isn’t that what winter weekends are for? As the saying goes, if March comes in like a lion and it will go out like a lamb!
P.S. If you’re looking to add a touch of fur to your home, one of our favorite sources for natural fiber is our NY NOW neighbor, Auskin, and you can now buy their luxurious goodies online!

So sorry to hear that winter still has you in it’s grip! Hard to believe. But being cozy by the fire sounds nice, especially with a soft fur throw. Hope you don’t have to hide out much longer! XOXO
I love this look of chic comfort! I am off to look at the Auskin site!

You’ve started a trend here. Gorgeous! Gorgeous!! We are expecting more snow in DC….I need to pull out my fur throw. Stay warm!! xoxo
I love a touch of fur in a room. The pouf is amazing!! We had wonderful 70 degree temperatures today, but tomorrow is rain and sleet and 32…longing for Spring!
Clever title! I am keeping the sheepskin tossed across the ottoman out for a while longer as well.
Love these! More snow here today — needing a hide to hide under!
xo
I have several sheepskin throws and keep them out year round. I have one in my great room over an ottoman and some in the bedrooms – bedside. Hides have really grown in popularity and I decided to put one under my kitchen table 🙂 Gorgeous rooms and I like the pops of color!
