Terrain… Coming Soon!

Terrain is Terrific!

A beautiful weekend and unseasonably warm temperatures (again!) have us wanting to get our hands dirty in the garden and get some planting done.  We’re hoping Terrain in Westport opens soon as it’s THE store for the gardener (even ones with two black thumbs!)

Westport Store

If the Westport Terrain is anything like the Glen Mills, PA, store, we’re in for a treat!  The DIY gardener will love the large retail space filled with everything from plants and planters to the latest in garden gear.

Spring Things

And those who would rather stick to decorating the inside of their home won’t be disappointed with the wonderful range of furniture, accessories and lighting.

April Events

Seeing as the store isn’t open yet, we might have to schedule a road trip this weekend to attend the container gardening demonstration – one of the many events scheduled for the month of April – and dine on locally sourced goodies at the cafe.

So Yummy!

For now, we’ll just have to satisfy ourselves with Terrain’s Bulletin to get updates and be inspired – we really like their “collected” series of posts!

This store is very similar to our Southern Homes and Gardens. A dream come true is how I see it!
I haven’t gotten in the garden like I usual do this time of year.
Keep up posted and please take some pictures.
    Happy Wednesday.

Looks like a fantastic store! I admit, my thumbs are shaded a bit more gray than green, but I do love a pretty garden and to wander garden stores! The one up the street from us was the scene of traffic jams over the weekend as hoards of people swarmed in get started on their warmer-weather projects. Don’t you just love spring?

I post products from Terrain all the time, but oddly enough it’s never occurred to me that it’s an actual store. So silly! It looks amazing….might have to make a side trip next time I’m visiting family in PA : ) xx

Oh, this store sounds like total shopping heaven! Lucky you! It reminds me of one that was near my old home in Portland, although this sounds much, much bigger and better!

Whoop whoop, I adore Terrain and I’m thrilled we are finally getting one nearby. I have visited the Glen Mills store several times as it is just around the corner from my brothers house!
    Ya!

I really love garden stores, even though I have black thumbs! This certainly looks like my kind of place, now I just need decent weather!

You just made my day! I can hardly wait to get back to CT and I’m just a couple exits away from Westport…or at least I will be this summer. I can’t wait to make my first trip to Terrain. I’m wondering where it will be located in Westport? A nursery, shop and cafe…how fabulous!
