Eve in Gold
Using Pinterest has got to be one of the best parts of doing a renovation / redecorating project and now that you can create secret boards, it’s even easier for designers to share ideas with their clients and get instant feedback!

We’re loving what our friend, Jen, is pinning to our secret boards. She, along with Kelly from Kelly at Home, is helping us with our project and introducing us to a whole new world of resources, including a fab French find called Elitis.

This Toulouse-based company is creating the most innovative and unique wallpapers, fabrics and furniture, all of which are fresh, fun and colorful. We can’t get enough of their new collection called Pleats, a wallpaper printed to look like origami that has been unfolded – so fabulous! We trying to figure out how we can incorporate a wow factor like this one into our new design…

Wallflowers used to be shy and demure… but not anymore! These botanical beauties are the work of photographer Carl Pascuzzi and designer Phoebe Brandt, founders of EDGE Wallcoverings. Since “exceptional design goes everywhere” (ergo, EDGE), each of the company’s numerous patterns can be printed on five types of wallpaper (linen, canvas, sand, matte or residential) and used to cover a single wall, a ceiling or an entire room. Can’t you just imagine a powder room papered in petals?

Then again, perhaps you’re not ready to be so bold… These former wallflowers (yes, we were quite shy as kids!) would rather add an element of floral fantasy to our rooms with these pretty prints by fellow blogger and friend, Kelly Dunn – and the best part, we can hang them anywhere we want!
Kelly is about the launch her online store but in the meantime, you can see her lovely work on her blog, Style Attic.
So… do you have any wallflowers? If so, what kind – paper or print?
