How Does Your Garden Grow?
It’s official: we’re so over winter, and the snow, and the icy temps. No amount of
red wine hibernating or chocolate is making us feel better! So we turn to Pinterest as a cure for the winter blahs and count down the days ’til spring. With less than five weeks to go, here’s what we’re pinning and pining for…
Buds and Blooms
Do you have any cures you’d like to share?
Ranunculus, Peonies and Roses
Do spring May flowers. Thomas Tusser, an English poet and farmer, penned this quote in the mid-16th century, as part of his instructional poem Five Hundred Points of Good Husbandry… and the phrase is still used today to give us hope when skies are gray.
Mock Orange Blossoms and Roses
Clematis, Hydrangea, Honeysuckle and Cosmos
While waiting for spring flowers to spring, we’ve been enjoying Veranda’s 31 Days of Flowers and loved all the pretty posies popping up daily in our Facebook feed during the month of March. Ironically, we’re putting the finishing touches on our new Fall/Winter 2014 collection so our SAD (Seasonal Adjustment Disorder) takes on a whole new dimension – trying to come up with Christmas bouquets now that spring is here is easier said than done… Needless to say, we’re so over winter!
Sweet Peas, Lilacs, Garden Roses and Veronica
Here’s to blue skies and sunny days!
