Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles second annual spring showcase of the region’s design industry talents opens next week and if the showhouse is anything like last year’s, it won’t disappoint! Returning designers Phoebe Howard and Lauren DeLoach will be joined by the likes of Huff Harrington Home, Stan Topol, Sarah Bartholomew and more.
For those of you who didn’t see the 2016 showhouse in Buckhead’s Tuxedo Park neighborhood, we thought it might be fun to revisit some of our favorite rooms. While the house included over 25,000 square feet of living space, the designers did a beautiful job creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Soaring ceilings were painted a traditional blue or accented with fabulous light fixtures and lush carpets softened the bare floors. A neutral palette was preferred by many but not by Lisa Mende and Parker Kennedy Living whose rooms were filled with whimsical pops of color.
A house in the south is not a home until it’s decorated with flowers and plants and many of the rooms featured lovely arrangements and greenery (including a custom Diane James design!)
