It’s Labor Day – what mood are you in?
Mix Master Eddie Ross
Performing in a very skillful and accomplished way… We’re ready to roll our sleeves up and get down to work this fall – many projects are being planned and some fun events, too.
P.S. First up – joining Pretty Pink Tulips in celebrating Eddie Ross’ new book, Modern Mix!

Best Hostess Gift Ever!
We’re looking forward to ringing in the holidays with our good friend, Tina, tomorrow on her enchanting blog, The Enchanted Home, so please stop by and say hi if you have a chance… We’ll be sharing some our favorite holiday traditions and gifts (yes, chocolates!) along with other blogging besties, Pretty Pink Tulips, I Dream Of, and Preppy Empty Nester!
Men’s Monogrammed Handkerchiefs
Meeting up with the lovely Julia Berger (who happens to be our neighbor!), the talent behind the beautiful linens and accessories by Julia B., is always a treat and today we get to view her new melamine monogram collection (seen recently in Traditional Home) in person.
Marvelous Monogrammed Melamine
With an international childhood (growing up in Tokyo), an education in textiles (studying in Florence) and career in fashion (working at Donna Karan and Calvin Klein), it’s no wonder that Julia’s aesthetic combines Asian simplicity with European tradition.
Gorgeous in Green
Each monogram is more beautiful than the next and we’d be hard pressed to choose just one… (Fellow blogging friend Elizabeth from Pretty Pink Tulips did and you can see it here!)
Her whimsical cocktail napkins are so stylish that we may just have to invest in a few!
“They Drink Like Fish”
Julia’s custom linens and tabletop collections are now available online on her own website, as well as through high end stores and showrooms like Holland & Sherry. Pretty soon, international shoppers will be introduced to this divine designer as she makes her debut at Maison & Objet this fall. Who knows where Julia’s A, B, C’s will take her next?

Everyone's Life Could Use a Little...
… to Sue from The Zhush for mentioning Diane James Home a year ago last Thursday in a fabulous post on wallpapered furniture. Who knew that we would end up not only being neighbors in the same small town but becoming great friends – and when she told two friends…

they told two friends…

Too Many Friends to Mention!
Now, all we need is a contract from Bravo to create a new reality show – The Blogging Housewives of Westchester County!

Aren’t these wreaths and garlands fabulous? In the words of Rachel Zoe, we die! In the midst of trees and tabletops, the front door sometimes gets second billing… but not with these seasonal beauties. Can you guess the blogger behind each door?
She’s makes the most of wherever she is and celebrates every moment she can…
Divine Magnolia and Pine
She knows how to “primp and fluff” with fabulous flair and divine design…
Dreaming of a Designer Christmas
With a Bunny Williams pedigree, she has an elegant aesthetic and a talent for beautifully balanced interiors…
