Since we’re still in Atlanta selling our petals off, we thought we’d tantalize you with our second Spring/Summer 2015 inspiration, California Coastal. The laid-back vibe of west coast living influenced our second collection, where organic and slightly rustic containers are combined with vibrant flowers in a range of green, blue, and magenta hues.

Big Sur Bouquet
In designing this collection, we took cues from the beach chic style of some our favorite interior designers including Michael Smith, Schuyler Samperton and Jeffrey Alan Marks, who love to mix rough hewn elements into elegant surroundings. These beautiful bouquets and orchids will have you California dreamin’ all year long!

So… will you stop by and say “Hi”? We’re in Booth #308 in High Design, Building 2, Floor 1 and we’ll be here through Monday. Wishing you all a happy weekend hanging out!

Let’s face it – gardening isn’t glamorous (unless you’re the late Oscar de la Renta) – but the end result can be! Our new Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Garden Glamour, is inspired by all the careful work that goes into making a garden grow and captures the botanical perfection of fresh picked flowers.

From traditional garden blooms like luscious peonies, springtime tulips, and delicate dogwood blossoms, to the more whimsical clematis, wax flower and anemone, this collection’s palette of pinks, peaches, yellows and soft greens evokes the prettiest of landscapes on a sunny day.

It’s Monday – what mood are you in?
Whimsical and fabulous… We’re taking some time off to show our new Fall/Winter 2014 collection “Folklore Fantasy” at the Atlanta Gift Show and will be back in two weeks!
P.S. Come see us in High Design, Building 2, Floor 1, Booth #308 if you’re there.
Our New Booth!
Since we’re down in Atlanta showing our new collections, we thought it fitting to counter this week of cold weather with a bit of spring! Ever since Dior’s famous 1953 “Tulip” collection, floral themes have always played an important role in fashion. Spring runways are often filled with botanical beauties, celebrating the end of winter and the start of a new growing season.
Dolce & Gabbana – Spring 2014
Burberry – Spring 2014
We saw a range of flowery designs for Spring 2014, from lacy bejeweled pastels at Burberry to Dolce & Gabbana’s romantic garden styles. One of our new spring collections was inspired by these Fashion Flowers where pretty pinks are paired with corals, creams and greens, and bright oranges and golds are harbingers for sunny days to come.
Modern Gardens seems to be popping up everywhere in urban settings and these inspired our second collection this spring. The softening use of plants, flowers and trees can be seen in the High Line Park on New York’s West Side or the contemporary interpretation of Babylonian hanging gardens at the Parkroyal Hotel in Singapore.
The Parkroyal Hotel
Natural elements can thrive in a concrete jungle and we captured this juxtaposition by using organically shaped containers and crisp, clean, vibrant flowers for a collection that’s at home, both in the city or in the country.
Now… who’s ready for spring?

Harbinger of Style
We’re off to Atlanta to buy for our next collection (Fall/Winter 2012, if you can believe it!) and one of our first stops for inspiration is the Aesthetic Movement showroom.
Inspiration from the New York Showroom
Coming across this mecca of taste and style was one of the highlights of last July’s trip and we’re making a point of adding some of their lines to our Diane James Home gift site this spring. From Thomas Paul…

Aesthetic Movement believes that brushes with beauty can enhance the overall quality of life. And who are we to argue with a mission like theirs – to “move hearts and minds by advocating the extraordinary – not proliferating the ordinary”?
