Do spring May flowers. Thomas Tusser, an English poet and farmer, penned this quote in the mid-16th century, as part of his instructional poem Five Hundred Points of Good Husbandry… and the phrase is still used today to give us hope when skies are gray.
While waiting for spring flowers to spring, we’ve been enjoying Veranda’s 31 Days of Flowers and loved all the pretty posies popping up daily in our Facebook feed during the month of March. Ironically, we’re putting the finishing touches on our new Fall/Winter 2014 collection so our SAD (Seasonal Adjustment Disorder) takes on a whole new dimension – trying to come up with Christmas bouquets now that spring is here is easier said than done… Needless to say, we’re so over winter!
Here’s to blue skies and sunny days!

How beautiful but that first arrangement in particular is just fabulous! Funny about the “SAD” wow….we are already talking Christmas? Scary…..enjoy the day!
So pretty, ladies. How wonderful to spend your days thinking, breathing and living in flowers – even if it does bring on seasonal confusion. Although I don’t even want to think about fall or Christmas, it’s nice to know that you are and that there will be your beautiful creations to be inspired by when those seasons come along!
Happy, happy spring! XOXO
Such a beautiful post! I especially love the first image!
