Beautiful and inspiring! Have a wonderful and successful week
What a beautiful space! The dark wood floors, the Pantone color of the year chaise, the colorful offering of books, the firewood in the basket and the built-in along the wall all work together to create a timeless space. Happy Monday!
Oooh the floors, the rug, the bucket of firewood! It’s all perfect! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!
LOVE the combination of colors in this room! Beautiful.
Have a great week, Carolyn.

We are snowed in! So while I’m a bit worried about not being able to make it to the office, and will be taking a conference call in my PJs this AM, I have a feeling I’ll have my nose in a book in no time. I’m current reading “The Wicked Pavillion” by Dawn Powell, who’s novels of New York social satire were published in the 40s and 50s. She’s got a sharp wit and I love tales of NYC in that era.
Have a well-read week! XO
Well you know this is one of my favorites!! While I don’t color coordinate my books, I do love this elegant vignette. I am sure I would be more well-read if I had a corner like this!
What a cozy corner to read! I’d light a fire, grab my favorite cashmere throw and recline in what I imagine is a comfortable chaise! Then I’d finish reading: Bob Dillon’s intimate insights (for pleasure and research) and The Help. Then I’ll finally start on Bossy Pants by Tina Fey! Thanks for the inspiration to make my own reading area comfy-cozy! xoxo
What a great reading nook! xx
One of my all time favorite images of a cozy spot – the great chaise, the sconce, the buddha head. It’s full of beautiful, interesting contrasts yet they don’t compete – it’s lovely! I’m starting The Paris Wife on the plane when we fly to Hong Kong next week – although this spot looks a whole lot comfier! 🙂
beautiful space! love the dark floors and of course all the books! i wish i had more time to read though:-)
every home needs the perfect place to read a good book. This is lovely.
I love this post! The colors are absolutely perfect and I loooove the sofa. This is a great room!
Have always l-o-v-e-d this picture! I’m still reading all my new books from Christmas…well, I think I will be for some time. Celerie Kemble’s is my fave so far : ) Hope you had a wonderful time in Atlanta! xx
