We’re back from our adventures in St. Catharine’s, Canada and have to give a shout out to one of our boys who competed at the 132nd Canadian Henley and won in the under 17 mens’ double! Henley gold is hard to come by and this is the first medal ever for our rowing club. Given that he and his double partner had already won in the same category at the USRowing Club Nationals in Tennessee last month, this win makes them possibly the fastest double (two rowers with two oars) in their age group in North America. We marvel at the mental discipline, physical dedication and mastery of technique this sport demands and would like to honor the boys with this golden post.
Happy Friday and may the rest of your summer be filled with golden moments!

A very big congratulations to your boys on a job well done!! How exciting……you must be so proud. If I still wore mini dresses I would be brainstorming about where to wear that darling sequined one up there! Have a great weekend.
