Epcot in Full Bloom

A visit to Epcot is always a fun and cultural experience and around this time of year, a flower-filled one, as well.  The park really springs to life during the Annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, a 75-day event presented by HGTV.

So while the kids had a blast on Mission: Space and Test Trak (zooming around in rocket ships and race cars is more their style than ours!), we had fun snapping pictures of our favorite Disney characters and strolling through the gardens.

We hope that some of the beauty we saw at Epcot will rub off on our own gardening efforts this year and perhaps turn our black thumbs to a lighter shade of green!  Who knows, there might be a new topiary or two in the yard come summer…

I love how you always surround yourself with witty blossoms! I have always wanted to try my hand at a topiary in the shape of a sphere.

Love these and great photos! I’m very good at growing weeds – wonder if I could train them into topiaries?

How can you not smile when you see a giant duck with red bow ! Lumiere would be so cute just up the walkway to a front door 🙂 We are headed to Disney next year when the kids are finally in the same school. I look forward to it. Your pictures are great!! XO, Kelly

These are so amazing, even better when you get to see them up close. I wonder how long it takes to make one of those and get all the flowers to be exactly the same color, etc. So interesting.
