One of the winners (in two categories, no less!) at last night’s Innovation in Design Awards hosted by Connecticut Cottages & Gardens was our client, Sage Design. Needless to say, we’re thrilled for Kathy since we’ve gotten to know her over the past couple of months and love her taste (read our post here.)
We’re even more excited to have visited Kathy’s website recently and found new images of the suites she designed for the Delamar Hotel in Southport. Some of the pictures included the Diane James Home florals she borrowed for the photo shoot. The Delamar liked what we did so much, the general manager bought two designs!
Being at the right place, at the right time may not be the most successful business strategy to follow but it has certainly worked for us and for Kathy. In fact, she was asked to design the two suites at the Delamar when the owner, Charles Mallory, saw a model residence Kathy created for Southport Green. Don’t you just love serendipity?!
