In between meetings with our buyers a couple of weeks ago during Tabletop Week, we snuck off to 41 Madison to visit some of our favorite showrooms. The prettiest by far was Villeroy & Boch where we fell in love with the Farmhouse Touch Blueflowers collection and friends, the company’s magazine dedicated to stylish living.
It’s no secret that we are drawn to blue and white (see our posts here and here) so we were excited to see the beautiful home of Rebecca Robertson and Marco Pasanella decked out for the holidays in the pages of the Autumn/Winter issue.
Both are designers (can’t you tell?) – she’s the Decorating Editor for Martha Stewart and he has authored books on design, teaches at Parsons and is a wine dealer. No wonder their 18th century house overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge enchanted the editorial team at Villeroy & Boch!
Aren’t those large New York Botanical Garden prints framed in turquoise fabulous? We’re dreaming of a blue and white Christmas…

Those prints are just beautiful with that lovely and unexpected turquoise frame – what a fab idea. Love the mini tree and that china, just gorgeous.
Great items but really loving those botanicals in turquoise!! SO pretty. And love Rebeccas dress 🙂
LOVE LOVE their place – so chic and oozing with charm. And could they be a better looking couple? Aesthetic inspiration all around!! And of course love the blue and white!!
Their life sounds too good to be true! I was really drawn to that interesting art – incredible!
Exceptional home! I’m always drawn to blue and white!
Love those two prints framed in turquoise!

Stylish spots indeed, the showroom and the designers’ home. Love the frames! I was just saying to someone yesterday that I’m decorating my home with hints of turquoise for the holiday season this year instead of the red and green, which I love too. Another great post.
I love this chic twist on holiday colors. Just back from my monthly class at the Botanical Gardens. Between that and hearing Michael Devine yesterday…I’m ready to pack my bags and head to Europe for a garden tour. Anyone want to go?!
