We’re heading into the city this weekend to show our designs at Boutique Design New York, the leading trade fair for the hospitality design industry and we can’t wait to spend the night at the Yotel nearby. Just around the corner from the Javits Center, this hotel is a western interpretation of the Japanese capsule hotels combined with luxury aircraft design.
Tapping into the latest technologies, this modern hotel has electronic self-check in, a handy mobile concierge app and even a luggage storage robot. The cabin-like rooms are smartly designed and rumored to be super comfortable, though we’ll have to flip a coin to see who gets the bunk bed.
Sadly, we won’t have time to wine and dine so we’ll miss out on the Northern African dishes served at Green Fig but we’ll definitely take a peek at the fourth floor, home of the largest hotel terrace in Manhattan. From what we’ve seen online, it’s not to be missed!
Happy Friday to all and have a great weekend.
