A Sketch a Day Giveaway from I Dream Of!

Day 5 - Our Bouquet (Original)

Day 5 – Our Bouquet (Original)

Jeanne, from the beautiful and creative blog, I Dream Of, started off the year giving herself a challenge – to paint on a daily basis – and using pictures she finds on Instagram, she’s doing just that (you can see her daily sketches here!)  Her goals are to be spontaneous and fast (her paintings take less than 30 minutes) and to not be afraid of making mistakes.  Five days into her challenge, a pretty posy popped up on her Instagram and it was the Blush Hydrangea and Ranunculus bouquet from our new Spring/Summer 2015 collection!  She said that the soft pinks and greens reminded her of bright spring days ahead…

Day 6 – @prettypetals

With snow on the ground and frigid temps in the air, we thought we’d bring a bit of spring your way in the form of a giveaway!  While Jeanne is holding on to her original pieces, she did paint a copy of her day 5 sketch for us to give to one of our wonderful readers.  All you have to do is visit Jeanne’s Instagram page and let us know which is your favorite sketch with either a comment below or an email to thebuzz.giveaway@gmail.com!  She’s painted 30 so far and they’re all so lovely.  We’re partial to her florals but we also love her sketches of Paris…  Did we mention that Jeanne is also a world traveler?

How to choose?!!! Both lovely, but, since I must…I pick the Giveaway. Love the softness of the yellow. I follow Jeanne, too, and likewise am partial to her florals. Must say that so many of her drawings are full of whimsy and just make me smile. Thank you for the chance to play in this fun giveaway. Happy Super Weekend!!!

I absolutely love her watercolors! And now thanks to you, I know where to find them…on Instagram! The two that caught my attention are the actually giveaway full of lovely, soft blooms (and my favorite shade of pink), and the one that shows her palette dish and her paints, because it gives a glimpse of how she works. I am new to your blog and very glad that I found it. Best, Dotti

Absolutely love all of Jeanne’s work! My favorite, if I had to pick one, is the black and brown dog on 1/24. So sweet. Have a wonderful superbowl weekend, pretty ladies!!!

The pink Louis Vuitton is great, but the florals are my favorite.

The white fireplace with blue/white ceramic vases and pots is especially beautiful. Looks like it’s from Tina’s Enchanted Home site!

All Jeanne’s watercolors are gems for the wall. I would love to have any one of them.

    Cheers

I love Jeanne’s paintings and it’s been so much fun seeing what she’s inspired by each day. It would be such a treasure to own one of her paintings. I’m also happy she introduced me to your site.

Hello!!!!!! Oh, I am so bummed that you’ll be standing all weekend at the gift show. Well, you are sure to see lots of fun, familiar faces and make lots of sales!!!

I really have to take my hat off to Jeanne. She has done so much in less than a month…I can hardly imagine what her 2015 portfolio will look like. I think she’ll need her own 1 woman show!!!

Now, the obvious pick for me would be the pink tulips with chanel….but I am going to say #10, the pineapple on pink background is the one I would love to win. I have been going through a huge pineapple phase. Love that it represents “welcome” and “hospitality”.

    Stay warm, loves!
    xoxo Elizabeth

They’re all so pretty but I am so partial to the pineapple one from Jan. 14, 2015. So pretty! One I would proudly display on my gallery wall!

With a newly designed kitchen that looks much like a Sur La Table kitchen store any of the watercolors with food items would enhance my kitchen all. This would be an over the top, unexpected, addition. Love your work!

On this cold Groundhog’s Day when it appears that Spring is 6 weeks away, Jeanne’s paintings bring welcome glimpses of lovely Spring days to come. A favorite? Oh my! All lovely, but perhaps the pinks and blues of Day 18!
