Finally, cooler autumn weather is here, bringing to mind fiery fall foliage, the air scented with the smoke of cozy fires and wonderful walks in the woods! Perhaps that’s what Phoebe Philo of Celine was inspired by when she used this unusual wood grain fabric in her Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
Although the faux bois look is nothing new, this pattern certainly pops up in the most interesting ways…
We’re planning to spend the weekend enjoying some fall fun – how about you?

Fall fun it is…and seriously crushing on the whole wood grain vibe, what fab finds!
I’m crazy for faux bois! Love, love, love it. And, I do hope I’m outside near some real wood….looks like a gorgeous weekend!

I love all of the above images. I plan on using some wood on my Thanksgiving table this year. I love just the plain wood plank as a charger, great inspiration. Happy weekend, Kathysue
That Chilewich placemat is so fun – I hadn’t seen it! Definitely love the faux bois look once the weather starts to turn…hopefully soon down here in Atlanta : ) Have a great weekend! xxKelly
How great is that wrapping paper?! That would have been cute for my son’s nature center birthday party…I could have made placemats out of that fun paper! Have a wonderful weekend ladies.
On Pinterest, I have a board dedicated to “Wood” – that I love. Will you be adding a wooden vase to Diane James home…perhaps something to pine for…or conifer over!
