We are! The air has definitely taken on a chill with evening temperatures now way below 60… perhaps it’s time to put away the grill and fire up some fabulous fall food. Sweet Paul makes it very easy for us to plan a cozy candlelit dinner filled with all the yummy goodness fall has to offer – earthy mushrooms, peppery kale, tangy apples and juicy pears. Soup to start, followed by a fresh salad and a beautiful roast, and, of course, dessert. While we’re huge fans of a crisp rosé in the summer, this is a meal best paired with a hearty red like a Bordeaux or Barolo. So pull up a chair and join us for a fall feast… As Paul would say, “here’s to chasing the sweet things in life” and eating them, too!
P.S. Is your mouth watering yet? All the recipes are linked below in the photo credits.

These look delicious – especially those marzipan apples! Isn’t it amazing how the change in season completely changes the foods we crave? Yesterday, I started thinking about making chili – it wasn’t even that cold out but suddenly I am craving a big steaming bowl! Hope you ladies are enjoying this beautiful weather and having a wonderful week! xoxo
Yum! Yes, my mouth is watering! The rain has set in with no end in sight and I am ready to cook up something warm and comforting. Those baked apples would hit the spot. Hope you ladies are enjoying a beautiful start to the season! XOXO
That broccolini and mushroom combo looks delicious. Definitely going to have to try that recipe out ASAP. Fall brings with it all my favorite things–the weather, the fashion, the food; just can’t get enough!
