We’re huge fans of Lady Gaga and her incredible (and quite unique) sense of style (not to mention that her music keeps us on the treadmill longer!) but there are times when we have to say, “What the gaga was she thinking?” For instance, last week she appeared at hat designer Philip Treacy’s London Fashion Week showcase in what we can only describe as a football helmet made of flowers to the amazement (and amusement) of many. Perhaps she was channeling Edward Steichen’s 1937 work, Heavy Lilies…
or more recent, flower filled fashion and photography projects?
In any event, her look reminded us of this darling picture…
and if we were her, we would have chosen something a little more subtle. Then again, rumor has it she wants an internship with the fabulous Philip Treacey.
Do you fall head over heels for this look? Let us know…

Yes, I do….! Reminds me of the vintage pillbox hat that was covered with flowers that I found and thought that I would wear on our wedding day. It was voted down but I still love it….it has a Jackie O sort of look.
Thank-you for remembering me, how thoughtful of you!

Won’t be sporting it anytime soon but for Gaga……anything goes (as we all know by now) I give her credit for being bold and doing things on her own terms…..very outsdie the box for sure, but she sure knows how to get us all talking! Shes a definite one and only!
I love all of these images, so creative!! The little flower child is my favorite, too precious.
I purchased some fall flowers yesterday for a carefree arrangement in a white pitcher for my kitchen. It looks so pretty next to the colorful tomatoes we bought.
Happy Fall, I am getting in the spirit!

FABULOUS images all!! While I’m not sure I’d want to actually sport any of these floral fashions, I certainly adore looking at them!
I love the flowers in the images, but I prefer flowers in arrangements made for vases. The little girl is especially beautiful. Is there anything more beautiful than flowers?
Happy Friday, C+C.

as gorgeous as the flowers look, I don’t think there is a woman alive who could pull it off. It reminds me of the saying – the flowers were wearing the models rather than vice versa.
The floral arrangements are beautiful, but I think I’ll leave them in a vase/pot/container, etc. Have a wonderful weekend!

I hope she doesn’t get hayfever!
