We’re packing our bags and heading south right after Christmas to warm our toes on a Mexican beach (even though we’re suppose to get temps in the high 50’s this weekend.) Saying goodbye to cold days and gray slush won’t be too hard and we’re looking forward to wearing something lighter and brighter than long underwear and ski parkas. Beach cover-ups are a must (these bodies aren’t getting any younger!) as are the sun hat and SPF. Come to think of it, perhaps it’s not too late to wrap these up and put them under the tree!

Have fun, ladies! I’m a little bit envious. Enjoy Christmas in the sun and have a margarita or two for me. We’re staying in Seattle for Christmas but heading east of the Cascade mountains for New Years – kind of the opposite of you, we are chasing snow for a little snow shoeing and cross country skiing – and will be drinking hot buttered rums instead of pina coladas. But I think I may have to get that Tory bikini for a future sunny vacation!
