Wanted: A Tree House!

Home Sweet Home

You may have gathered by now that there’s a bit of construction going on in one of our homes and after a week of Chris, Hebert and Erno (not to mention Dan – the plumber, Gilbert – the electrician, and Tony – the tile guy), we’re thinking of moving into a tree house in the back yard to get away from all the mess.  The dogs aren’t quite ready for life in the trees but having seen some really great arboreal homes, we’re game…

A tree house would be a dream-come-true! I haven’t been in a tree house since I was a child – this brings back good memories! Good luck with all the building works ladies, it sounds like chaos!

Yes, I have been up that tree before during our construction. If only there was a portable sort of tree house to provide temporary housing. I know my sign just might read “keep out” – no boys allowed.

No..I haven’t been in any that come close to these! I understand your desire to get away. The chaos will be with it:)

I’d be worried about getting up at night and taking the wrong turn!

These look great! Our neighbors growing up had an awesome treehouse. It was round, about 12 feet wide, and had electricity, and a phone. Window seats all around made it a terrific spot. Sadly, the new owners tore it down, and the tree too.
