Upton Manor

Delightful Downton Abbey

Are you as obsessed with Downton Abbey as we are?  We can’t get enough of the show and with two weddings (well one, technically!) and a number of parties so far this season, we’ve been enchanted by all the fun flapper fashion and the freer, more fanciful flowers.  So much so that this 1920’s style might influence our next fall collection…  perhaps we’ll call it Upton Manor!

Fresh and Fruity

Pretty Pinks and Purples

Our mother is no stranger to English floral design since she studied in London with Lady Pulbrook and has always admired the incomparable Constance Spry.  Perhaps we’ll add a more modern twist to our designs and be inspired by some our favorite (Brooklyn-based!) florists like Nicolette Owens and Amy Merrick.

Lovely Leaves

We just love the whimsical elegance and the lush colors and textures of these bouquets and can’t wait to get started!

Buds and Berries

Winter Wonders

P.S.  If you’re a fan of Downton Abbey’s flowers, let us know what you’d like to see in our fall/winter collection.  And if you’re a fan of our flowers, you can get them at a discount for the next two weeks by using coupon code TYVM2013 in your shopping cart after 12 p.m. today!

There might be a collective gasp in the audience here but I can’t stand Downton Abbey, I have tried watching it several times and NOTHING seems to happen. I do like to leave it on in the background though because the scenery is so beautiful. These flowers are just absolutely breath taking ladies! Have a lovely weekend!

Your flowers are gorgeous….and so fitting they would fit right in with Upton Manor!

Count me as among the obsessed!!! What fun it would be to have a cup of tea with your mother and hear about her adventures in London and floral philosophy. I can’t wait to see what you ladies come up with and how Downton influences you! XOXO

I am so behind the times! I keep hearing about the buzz Downtown Abbey is causing but haven’t seen it yet. However, I love, love your flowers! xx

I watched last night and prior to that my daughter and I watched Oliver Twist. I was obsessed with the light and the dark, the contrasts – which has always inspired me as an artist. I love that era. Can you imagine having help and a staff to arrange all your needs and your blossoms.
