Turquoise & Gold Jewels

With a busy week of installing a room at the Designer Showhouse of Westchester and putting the finishing touches on our table for the Red & White Ball for the Greenwich Chapter of the American Red Cross, the effects of our recent surprise trip to Florida have quickly worn off…  Why is it that as soon as you’re back from an adventure, you’re craving another?  Perhaps that’s why the combination of turquoise and gold (think sand, sun and sea!) has us yearning for summer fun!

I always think of summer stripes in maritime blue or red and red white and blue for a patriotic summer, memorial day, fourth of july….

A wonderful fresh combination indeed! And love the beautiful offices – what a pleasure it would be to work in either of those!!

Dreaming of blue skies and cool breezes – take me away! Wouldn’t it be grand to have a view like the Missoni Hotel outside your window every day?!

I LOVE blue and gold together but I’ve never thought of turquoise and gold … but it looks absolutely gorgeous! Love that second pic & the big art installation on the back wall. Very dramatic.

I’m painting one wall in my living room robin’s egg blue in a high gloss so that would be my summer inspirational color of the moment! (& one of these days you’ll have to show pictures of your aunt’s french villa!)

Anything with blue and cream in it sounds really good right now. So ready for sun, sand and water. Can’t wait to see pics from your Designer House project. It’s a lot of work and pressure too. I know it’s fab!!!!

In January I announced that cobalt blue is going to be my color of the year 2011. I love cobalt with crisp white and I can’t seem to get enough of it. I also like adding a pop of pink with cobalt in beautiful pink flowers. Now that is perfection to me!!! Kathysue

Turquoise and gold are my favorite summer combination! Love it in costume jewelry for the season and in interior spaces year round.
