Love fireplaces – faux or real! We even had one in the city – why I think my husband settled on that apartment!! We haven’t started our season off yet – always signals the holidays for me!!
I’ve been loving firewood as part of a beautiful design lately and that first image is a perfect example! Thanks so much for your kind words about my photography of Slovenia – it means a lot to me! 🙂

These are a great example of making the most of what you have!!!! We’ve had a couple of fires….not exactly wishing for colder weather, but that is one of the sublime silver linings of winter…sitting in front of a roaring fire!
Great images!! Just pinned these : ) Our fireplace is not in use and I’ve been debating doing something fun with it…the wallpaper idea is enticing! xxKelly

Such fun and imaginative ways to dress up a fireplace, always loved the storing of logs in it, its practical and very pretty.
I love my fireplace – so cozy! xx
Any idea where the wallpaper came from? It was at the Bungalow5 booth at High Point. I am obsessing!!
