Former Bug-Phobic Christopher Marley

Former Bug-Phobic Christopher Marley

… to Christopher Marley for turning bugs (and other exotic and unusual bits) into beautiful works of art.  A childhood aversion to insects became an appreciation of their unique hues, shapes and textures and now, Chris creates one-of-a-kind masterpieces that awe and amaze anyone who happens to see them.  If you haven’t met this incredible artist in person (he does have a sensational booth at the New York Gift Show!), you’ll have a chance to do so at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York next Thursday, August 18th, from 3 to 6 p.m.  We’ll be there with bugs bells on!

I am familiar with his work I too a total bug aphob but he has made them beautiful if such a thing is possible!! So intersting and fascinating how a true artist can take virtually anything and see it for something we do not and turn it into a work of art…..fascinating!

I have a headboard of silk fabric with fireflies, so i’m definitely a bugsy person. And Christopher Marley does not disappoint! See you at the show Saturday!

Oh my…you introduced Pretty Pink Tulips and me to him this past January at the NYIGF! His work is fascinating. I enjoyed the stories behind his creations.

I have never seen bugs brought together more beautifully in all my life! Is anyone in Australia stocking his artwork?
