Fabulous Finds

The Perfect Provenance

Not Just Any Store

Our #fridayfun brought us to Greenwich last week where we took the opportunity to visit some new (at least to us!) home decor stores in the area.  Our first stop was The Perfect Provenance since we heard the restaurant there, Cafe 47, was amazing… and it was lunchtime!

Ready for The Beach

Summer Dresses

Perrin Purses and Clutches

Founded by Lisa Lori who has an extensive background in PR and fashion, this local gem features four to five curated “exhibitions” a year which inspire the whole retail experience.  For each theme (St. Bart’s is the current one), Lori picks products with a story, whether it’s art, books, fashion, home decor or beauty.  These little luxuries are artfully displayed in separate rooms on two floors of the 1912 house and each vignette takes you away to another world.

White Gazpacho

The Perfect Apple Tart

And let’s not forget the food which truly showcases Chef Arik Bensimon’s heritage (or provenance), having honed his craft at some of New York’s most iconic restaurants.  We highly recommend lunch or dinner on the porch but make sure to reserve ahead since there are only five or six tables!
