The Color Green Redux

Shades of Green

Shades of Green

Six years ago tomorrow we launched this little blog of ours and never in our wildest imagination did we think it would bring us so much pleasure and so many readers from around the world.  And never did we think we’d be blogging for so long… but we’re still at it 920 posts later!

Our first post was inspired by a room we saw at Manhattan House designed by the king of color, Jamie Drake, so we thought we’d revisit one of our favorite hues: green.  Whether it’s the bright yellow green of new spring leaves or the bluer green of Paris’ park benches, we can’t help but love this color.  We know we’re a day late for St. Patrick’s Day, but contrary to what Kermit the Frog said, it’s so easy being green.

Firstly congratulations on your blogiversary – 6 years is impressive! I’ve also been obsessing over green – you know how much I love that lettuce ware and could that Kate Spade bag be any more adorable?! Hope we’ll be seeing more of the green stuff very very soon!!

Congratulations, ladies! I for one am so glad that you are still blogging – and gladder still that we’ve been able to connect through our blogs. I’m always inspired by your pretty point of view. Green just speaks of spring! As I type I’m glancing out the window where the tiniest green leaves have joined the pink blooms on our magnolia. Hope you had a lovely St. Patty’s Day – it was my Dad’s birthday so there was a corned beef and cabbage lunch celebration.

Happy Wednesday and happy nearly spring! XO
