We’re back from Atlanta and the good news is we had a great show… The bad news is we returned with big fat colds and will be spending the weekend nursing ourselves back to health. Fortunately, we came across this recipe for citrus cake on our of our favorite foodie blogs, Cannelle et Vanille. A few days ago, Aran received a huge box of citrus from a friend in California and when she has lemons, she makes cake! Just reading this post has helped clear our heads and ease our sore throats. Nothing like a bit of lemon, honey and a slice of cake for a cold.
What will you be doing this weekend to add a bit of zest to your life?

Oh no!! Get better ladies. Travel this time of year is the worse for those pesky colds. I’ve been gorging on citrus lately, trying to keep my immune system operating in top gear. Plus it looks and smells like sunshine.
Hope you are feeling tip top soon! XOXO
I hope you feel better! Not much worse than airplane air during cold season to make sure you get sick. But the cake is lovely!
Oh, this looks amazing!!!! Loving lemons right now and citrus in general. I am finally getting over a month-long cold, so I really do feel for you. Glad to hear Atlanta went well but sorry to hear you’re under the weather. Hot tea with lemon + that yummy citrus cake and you’ll be back to your old selves by next week.
Stay warm and by the fireplace!
xoxo Elizabeth
