We have a confession to make… We’re not really into Valentine’s Day. “That’s strange,” you may ask yourself, “aren’t these girls into flowers?” Well, we are, but that still doesn’t change the fact that we think Hallmark seems to have kidnapped February 14th and demanded that we express our love as a ransom. After all, if you’re with the right person, every day should be Valentine’s Day!

Setting the Fall Table

With almost two weeks to go before Thanksgiving, we’re polishing the silver, ironing the napkins and thinking of how to set our holiday table. We always start with the centerpiece (after all, who wants to fuss with flowers when there is so much cooking to do?), and use the colors as inspiration for the rest of the table. This year, we love the Cinnamon Bouquet from our Fall/Winter 2009 collection – the tawny autumn colors work beautifully with acorn jacquard linens and Haviland plates. And our family never leaves empty-handed as each place setting will have a beautifully wrapped Potting Shed Creation to grow during the winter months!
