Jeweled Trees

Where did this week go?  As much as we’d love to stop time, we know it marches on and Christmas is really only three weeks away.  Three weeks to decorate the house, shop for presents, wrap those presents and plan a family get together…  not to mention that both our sons are high school seniors and college applications are due by December 31st!  The odds that those essays will eventually get written are pretty high but we’re a bit concerned about the holiday decorating.

So this weekend, in addition to a trip to Michaels where we’ll exercise some DYI muscle, we’ll attempt to add a little sparkle to our homes.  Perhaps, when all is said in done, we’ll even pour a little sparkle into a champagne flute.
