The weekend’s finally here and that means it’s pumpkin decorating time! But there’s an ongoing debate as to whether we’re going to carve them this year or do something creative with glue, paint and glitter.
If we had our way, we’d keep it simple – carve them out and use them as a vase for flowers, or use paint pens (much neater than paint brushes!) and go wild.

Cut Out Pumpkins
Regardless, we’ll be inspired by all the pretty pumpkins that are being pinned these days…
How about you, are you a traditional carver or do you do your own thing?

Down on The Farm
While snow fell from the sky last weekend in the Northeast, we were enjoying a gorgeous fall day visiting family and getting lost in the corn fields of Ohio.
A Warm Welcome
With five mazes and over 11 miles of trails through corn “as high as an elephant’s eye”, Adventure Acres has something for everyone; from an award winning barn to hay rides, corn cannons to a petting zoo, it’s a perfect place to spend the afternoon.
What better way to treat ourselves after all that exercise than a sweet treat… and a lovely evening spent lounging by the fire.
An Apple a Day
Sister-in-law Ann loves to capture the changing seasons with delightful decorating touches… even the mixer matched the fall colors!
Wishing you an amazing weekend!
