May flowers and Luisa Beccaria knows how to pick them! Her Spring 2015 collection is filled with intricate botanical embroideries, appliqués and flowery prints. Sweet but not precious, her dresses capture a youthful, bohemian spirit that is so perfect for spring. While Luisa says she wanted to reference “the atmosphere of a boudoir, the sensuality of exquisite antique lingerie, yet in a modern and sophisticated way”, we think her clothes should be worn at garden parties for all to see. Then again, we don’t have a boudoir in our homes… If God is in the details, then we’re in heaven with this collection!
We’re off to the races in Saratoga (crew, that is) this weekend and wish you all a winning one!
P.S. Yes, regatta season is in full swing and we’ve been traveling a bit so please forgive the lack of posts. We’ll be back and blogging next week!
