Alas, No Sea Glass!

A Beachy Vignette

A hike we took on our recent trip to Sausalito led us on us a long and winding path to a hidden cove and a beach with views of the Golden Gate Bridge – a perfect place to collect sea glass.  Sadly, recycling, though good for the environment, has led to a dearth of these pretty weathered gems so we’ll have to get our fix in other ways.  Perhaps you’ll find us showing up at your next party wearing this delightful dress…

Spring Awakening

Last week, we attended the press event (along with Sue from The Zhush!) for Spring Awakening, a Broadway inspired table top show benefiting The Summer Theater of New Canaan.  Over twenty designers were invited to create beautiful settings based on Broadway shows, all under the roof of a spectacular 1937 home called Le Beau Chateau.

While each and every designer deserves his or her due (and many are profiled on The Zhush today), we wanted to share our dear friend Harry Heissmann‘s table with you – floral fantasy at its best!
