I must say I am pretty much over all the pretty white stuff, yes its beautiful but its getting old!!!! I will be staying in catching up on blogs, working on a few projects and going through piles and heaps of mail! Always a great day to catchup and hope later the roads might clear since I am supposed to be having a dinner guest tonight! Enjoy your snow day…..
Oh my goodness, I can’t believe the winter you’ve had! It is cold here, but no snow. Here in Seattle it’s actually like that quote you’ve posted! Often in the forecast, but rarely on the ground. If we ever do see some serious flakes, the day you’ve described here sounds pretty good to me – especially the hot chocolate and cupcakes. Stay warm! XOXO
I heard you were getting MORE snow.. I’d be getting tired of the cold at this point!! Looks like you’ve created the perfect snow day here today. That hot cocoa with marshmallows is my favorite. The novel is perfect! I saw previews of the movie last night and it looks good.

Happy snow day!!! I seem to take a more relaxed pace when I know I don’t have to rush the kids out the door.
Grant stayed home today, so that’s kind of nice…even though he’s still working.
Did a little shoveling, taking one son to a playdate, brownies being made….all in all….a really good day!

Well, I’m working from home – one kiddo is out with friends and the other is snuggled and reading. I read that book when it came out, and I was so young, I wonder if I will still love it as much. I have my copy still, but I downloaded the much lighter kindle version to start up again. But I am SO ready for the thaw! Stay warm and safe!
