When Pantone announced their 2012 Color of The Year last December, we weren’t quite ready to embrace Tangerine Tango. After all, we were in the midst of decorating our homes for the holidays!
But with the new year upon us, we’re finding this color pretty “a-peeling” (you know we had to go there!) and when New England Home asked us to write a second post for their blog this week, we decided to poll our friends to see what they would do…
Does this color make you dance? If so, please click here to read more!

Yes it does!! I have only used orange in clothing and personal accessories but must admit seeing it all over has me wanting a little bit of it somewhere in my home. Thinking maybe me small home office, to do something fun and colorful! Will head over….
You can imagine how much I loved this!!
Dancin’ the night away! I love this color (in small doses) because it does make everything come to life. I’ve been selecting fresh flowers lately in this hue and the rooms pop! (Sorry I couldn’t stop by your booth at the show–I was literally running in and out and not even sure I can get back there this week!) xo
I LOVE IT!! Orange has always been a favorite of mine. It is such happy color!
I say yes to all three!
I do like orange, even tho I have two left feet!
It doesn’t really fit into my colors at home, but it is so pretty and bright! Love it!
I think orange is a great accent color. I don’t think I would use too much of it in a room. I do like orange though.
I have to say, this color has really grown on me. I mean how can you not love such a bright, happy color?
You know I adore orange in a space! Off to see what goodies you have lined up for us in your guest post…
Yes, I’m loving any accent colour at the moment, and anything that looks good with navy – this is a perfect match!
I love it, bright and fresh color
I agree…I think I’ll be feeling this a little more in the Spring! I love your picks – that wallpaper and Lee Jofa fabric are both right up my alley : ) xx
