It’s July and that means we have a new installment in our series, Sensational Summer Style!  This time, we  travel to beautiful Santa Monica, CA, where our guest blogger, Stephanie Grace, not only owns a fabulous flower and gift shop but also plans the most wonderful parties.  Stephanie definitely knows how to entertain in style so without further ado, here are her some of her favorite finds in her own words!

Golden Corn Dishes

Golden Corn Dishes

There’s truly nothing more quintessentially “summer” than corn on the cob.  Michael Aram has done an outstanding job making the process of eating corn look fantastic – a rather hard task if you ask me!  I love everything about these!

Dragonfly Chip and Dip

Dragonfly Chip and Dip

Summer is all about entertaining and enjoying the outdoors.  The Mane Lion does an exquisite job with their chip and dips by infusing nature into their ceramics.  My favorite for the summer is the Dragonfly and Ladybug platter.  It is an exquisite serving piece, and brings that “elegance” to chip and dip that we sometimes need for a more formal evening.

Meriden Pitchers

Meriden Pitchers

As a child growing up, summer was filled with fresh ice cold lemonade poured from a perfectly “summer-esque” pitcher.  Simon Pearce has captured the perfect summer pitcher in their Meriden collection.  Whether you opt for the big or medium size, it is the perfect accent to an afternoon lying out in the sun.

Ryan Studio Blue Series

One thing I love about the seasons is changing up my decor… inside and out!  Ryan Studio has the most incredible selection of pillows, and I just love their blue series for a summer by the ocean.  Nothing beats the urge to redecorate!

Vento Ice Bucket

Vento Ice Bucket

Simple as this: from the freezer to your table!  This ice bucket is simply perfection in that I can keep it in the freezer as I am preparing for dinner, and then bring it out right onto the table, with the ice still chilling.  It stays cool much longer than a traditional ice bucket and has a great shape and aesthetic to it.

Lobester Napkin Rings

For me, dressing the table is sometimes just as fun as the party itself!  Add that little special touch with these super chic and fun lobster napkin rings.  They are perfect for that clam bake by the shore, or an elegant evening by the pool.  They just make me smile.

Thank you, Stephanie, for letting us “buzz” about your sensational summer style.  To see more of Stephanie’s work and read her blog, click here!
