There’s something about the simplicity and softness of dusty miller that helps us get through the winter months when all there is to look at is bare branches in the yard.
Not only is is this silvery-gray plant easy to grow, it’s scaringly draught-resistant (for those of you who, like us, neglect their real plants!)
Best of all, their neutral hue goes with absolutely everything… including your wardrobe!
P.S. You’ve probably guessed by now that we’re cutting back a bit on our posts and we hope you’ll keep on reading Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays… after all, isn’t quality better than quantity?

I adore the silvery hue of dusty miller.
Cutting back sounds like a good plan. Quality is your middle name, non?
A container of Dusty Miller seems to fit my January mood just perfectly!
Love this color……its such a soft, delicate and pretty feeling palette. And yes quality is way better than quantity. Its hard to post everyday, I normally have about 4 posts a week which I find manageable (until I am in the thick of moving and it will have to be less for a little bit). Have a great day….
Such a beautiful and serene color, Carolyn. I just adore the tea set.
Will see you on Monday!
Have a great day.
Totally agree with Patricia on all!! Thinking of doing the same. Love this elegant subtle hue and like you I am a neglectful plant owner!!
A pretty hit of pearly grey? How perfect! Taking a breath between posts seems like a smart plan. Leave us wanting more, right? Have a quality weekend!
I love dusty miller and the softness and texture it can add to a flower bed, I have used it in my yard for years, it looks so beautiful next to dark green and yellow green and then add a pop of pink or purple and it just sings!! I love the way you translated it to wardrobe and interiors, Happy new Year,
You always have quality! And love the dusty tones.
…do dust-y bunnies count too?
Love those dusty shoes! xx
I love the “dusty” hue…very peaceful…very creative…love those dishes.
Love this dusty grey, perfect with so many colours at the moment. And quality over quantity? you know we’ll always come back!
Those shoes are insane! Great colour but far too high for me to ever walk in!

Love the color…yummy. And I’ve cut back on posts as well. Quality is definitely better than quantity. I am hoping for great things for all of us in our business endeavors in 2012. XO, Mona
YES! dusty miller is my favorite. maybe not as the focal point- but such a perfect accent! and they are hard to kill, which made it a real winner for our garden. 🙂
we were in NYC for 2 quick days, and i was SAD to miss the chance to try and meet up. don’t worry though… i will be back!! 🙂
Ooh! Those pumps! lovely!! I should def. get some of those plants, good to know for someone like me who has a (pale green- bordering on blue) thumb. xo
I adore using dusty miller in big arrangements! I remember how I used to think how old-fashioned it was growing in my grandma’s flower bed, but cut in bunches it screams chic!
