It goes without saying that one of our very favorite places to shop for unique home decor and beautiful gifts is Pimlico in New Canaan. No trip to town is complete without popping in and seeing what owners, Melissa and Jill, have added to their elegantly curated vignettes – whether it’s a bauble from White Moth Jewelry, the latest work of local photographer Barbara Erdmann or a hand-crafted bowl by Lawrence McRae.
While Pimlico is always a feast for the eyes, the store is magical this time of year. From the moment you step through the entrance decked out with white birch logs and mixed garlands, you’re transported into a world of pastel prettiness and glitter.
Needless to say, we’re so excited to be part of Pimlico’s festive mood this year. When Melissa, who is responsible for the holiday decor, came to us to source faux garlands and create custom boughs for the store, we were more than happy to help. And the result speaks for itself, doesn’t it?
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

A feast for the eyes is the perfect description and your lovely garlands and boughs are the perfect touch. Gorgeous. This is putting me in a decorating mood! Wish I could pop in and go shopping today. XO
Oh how I love magnolia! I’m a red-and-green kind of gal, but these pastels are merry!

Thank you so much for such kind words and featuring our store! All your beautiful faux garland and boughs brought it to life (we are practically sold out!). I must say, working with quality faux greenery without the hassle of needles shedding is an absolute must!! Here’s to a great holiday season!!
What a beautiful shop! This looks like its worth the trip! Thanks for sharing the beautiful holiday inspiration.
Gorgeous! I had hoped to stop by there over the weekend (a little shopping at AI Friedmans and some local favorites) but the traffic in the area was so bad, and then I pulled something in my leg, and well, didn’t make it. But I love your gorgeous garlands. I use magnolia garlands in my Christmas decorations as well.
How beautiful. Now that’s my kind of Christmas decorating.
You know how much I adore Melissa, Jill and their fabulous shop!!! Feeling like I need to get myself up the road to enjoy the holiday decor!
It’s definitely looking like Christmas in there!!!
