Stepping Out in Miu Miu
Holy Moly, we’ve been seeing a lot of cutouts, eyelets and lace these days and not all are on models walking down the runway… From the looks of it, European designers can’t get enough of the play between texture and shape that results from using scissors (or a laser!) to create these floral forms. Is this a trend that we’ll be seeing soon stateside? Vera Wang thinks so… how about you?

Hi! Love the cut out look, especially the chair and the pretty earrings down the bottom…divine!
xo
Those earrings are beautiful!
It’s like the modernized version of an up close and personalized version of lace anything. I think it’s really great, as I love the smallest of deets. I can’t see myself in those shoes, but I would probably just LOVE it on anyone else who dared to cut up like that! 🙂 XO, Kelly
Those Miu Miu sandals are the cutest I’ve seen in a long time! That pink pair is just perfect.
I’ll bet you’re right…if it’s in Europe now, we’ll be seeing more of this soon. Love the earrings!

I’ve read they are even using lasers to ’embroider/monogram’ items now too. I’ve had my eyes lasered – does that count?!

Yesssss! I think it’ll be around for a while…at least it should! I’m lovin’ the lamp shades the most!!
I absolutely love this post!!!
I’ve been noticing more of this too. Let’s see what I spot while in Paris for a long weekend! The Vera Wang stationary is lovely.
