“In the spring at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.” We laughed when we read this Margaret Atwood quote on Eat – Drink – Garden last week as it seems Spring has yet to make an appearance in the Northeast. While the daffodils and tulips are valiantly trying to sprout from the ground (which is still covered in snow in some parts) it will be a while before we get our hands dirty (and kill some garden greens with our black thumbs!) But there’s still hope and inspired by this Monday Mood, we thought we’d share some potting shed pretties.
P.S. You don’t have to wait for your garden to bloom to bring the outdoors in… We’ve just added our new spring collection online at Diane James Home – over 35 new designs to choose from!

Aw…such a lovely post! I am a winter person, but I must admit Spring brings out the best in me. I love your choices here. I have to have the tulip trowel!
Happy Wednesday.

So pretty, makes me wish the weather would make up its mind and finally let us all breath a sign of relief that spring is finally here to stay and we an begin our planting!! I cannot wait…..
All of these lovely things makes me want to dig in the dirt and start getting my little yard whipped into shape…but it’s still so cold!
I have a black thumb too, but these sure make me want to get in there and try!
How lovely, i am about to publish a post on gardens and came upon your post! Such a delight! 🙂
