When Lynn from Decor Arts Now asked us to participate in her post about cultivating our personal style based the memory of our first room (a question prompted by Carlton Varney at the What’s New, What’s Next event at the NYDC last week), we couldn’t help but think back to the outfits our mother wore when in that room…
One of our favorite dresses (which she still owns) is a Pucci floral shift that dates back to the early 1970’s.
Needless to say, we’re happy to see that pop art flowers are back in style for Spring 2012!

I actually really love these bold florals, great colors, can’t imagine they don’t transform your mood when you wear them!
I LOVE bright and bold! And thanks so much for the shout out!
Xo, Lynn
Love the bold florals so much! They are fun, energetic yet chic at the same time! Fun!
Pucci has stayed in style, it seems, for numerous decades. I always love their bright, happy pops of color!!! I have a Pucci skirt I love…what is it with me and skirts?! 🙂
xoxo Elizabeth
Everything does come back in fashion! xx
I cannot wait to buy a few yards of some big popping blossom and make some tops and skirts.
There is something happy and mod about the scale of big bold blossoms.
Reminds me of Mary Quant and Marimekko-
Love it! I enjoy the old as much as the new! And I can only imagine a chic Diane in floral Pucci….sounds amazing : ) xxKelly
I love your blog — the background and colors are impressive! Each and every one of these outfits I’d wear and after looking at so much black in fashion, loving all the bright patterns and colors. best, Tamara
