Feather Fire?
So we’re probably the last blog in the world to write about the pervasive use of juju hats as wall decor but we had to say something as they really do look like big spider mums!

Juju Spider Mum
Jujus are actually tyns, headdresses worn by Cameroonian tribal chiefs and dignitaries when attending royal court events.

Feather Bed?
Made of feathers that symbolize prosperity and the positive quality of birds (hmm, wonder what those are?), these often colorful jujus are just the thing you need to fill an empty space…

Feather Art?
And if you change your mind or color scheme, no problem – they fold in on themselves for easy storage!

Feather Desk?

Feather Ghost?
So… do you juju or would you rather stay “mum” on the subject?

I adore these!
Carolyn, thank you for stopping by!! I am actually taking the ID course at Norwalk Community College – so far so good!! What a beautiful blog you have and I love juju hats! My girlfriend has been searching for one for her summer home and found one during Eddie Ross’ flea market events last weekend in Manhattan for $200! She was super excited!! Have a wonderful weekend!
SO much fun – and yes, remind me exactly of spider mums!! Color and texture are great!! Wishing you a great weekend!!
I think I need that hot pink Juju — what a happy little wall decor! Perfect on a Friday. TGIF, my friend! The sun is shining, so we’re off to a great start!
xoxo Elizabeth
I’m definitely a Juju kind of girl! Love it and have to have one! What great photos, as always!!
It seems as though lately I’ve been seeing them everywhere. And they DO remind me of spider mums! Have a wonderful weekend!
These are fantastic!! I’ve already thought of two places in my house that I would like to hang one of these beauties. Love!
I’m clearly totally behind the times, as this is the first I’ve heard of this fun trend! I’m thinking perhaps I could actually use one of these in my bedroom. Even better, they look like a great choice to hang over the bed in earthquake regions: we’re always being told not to use heavy objects.
Thank you, I’m off to google them!
I would juju any day! I have done the scaled down cheaper version of different colored feather wreaths from Homegoods 🙂 A girl can try, and a girl can dream!! Love the collection that tells the story of why we should hang our hats high! XO
Those were some ENTICING photos. Never thought I would juju (I didn’t even know the name for these headdresses) but now I have changed my mind.
I will take the mums too. 🙂
