Guess who we’re seeing in concert tomorrow night at the Meadowlands? Given our current very warm and humid weather, we thought we’d have some frozen fun … with ice cubes, that is.
There’s something so festive in adding flowers or fruit to ice; it’s like dressing up your cocktail with some bling!
How do you rock your cubes? Here’s wishing you all a festive Friday!

These ice cubes are amazing, have to save this post for when I am feeling particularly creative 🙂 Now onto more important things, I am so jealous! Lucky you, absolutelt one of my favorite groups, listen to them all the time (much to my sons horror). Not to make you jealous but……..last summer we were at Clam Bar in Amagansett and who is sitting next to us but Chris Martin himself with a few friends and Christy Turlington and her husband Ed Burns, we ended up having a conversation with them, they were really friendly and cool and we acted like they were just another group of diners, (but it was hard to not ask Chris for a picture or front row tix….lol) Enjoy!
What fun – have a great time!! Love the ice cubes – so pretty and festive! Hope to see you soon!
These are so pretty! Enjoy the concert!
Oh my gosh I am freezing away this weekend. Such a beautiful way to make a beautiful drink.
Have fun at he concert, Carolyn and Cynthia!
Happy Friday.

Love the ice cubes! How clever and beautiful. The temperatures here might climb into the 90s for the first time this summer, so this party trick might come in handy. Have fun at the show and stay cool!! XO
I’ve got to try this– I’m going to get blackberries and blueberries and extra ice cube trays pronto and start freezing! AND!…Have a great time at the concert!! XOXOXO
Love this idea. I also do this at Christmas – freezing holly in ice cubes is also festive! Have a great time at the concert!
That will be one great and fun time at the Meadowlands — enjoy! Love the cubes!

How fun…hope you have the best time and LOVE the beautiful blossoms in the ice!
I am loving these ice cubes! What a striking way to add interest to a beverage. I will be copying this idea next weekend. I should have read this on Friday as we had 26 people for dinner Saturday evening.
