With yet another winter storm brewing today, we thought we’d whisk you away to sunnier climes and extol the virtues of our talented friend, Brielle Ferreira, homes editor at Coastal Living. We met this stylish young thing when she was at Luxe Interiors + Design and we’re so excited to see her name next to the features in the front-of-book “Havens” section as well as other editorials.
According to editor-in-chief Antonia van der Meer, “Brielle has an eye for luxurious, yet approachable home decor” and we couldn’t agree more.
So far, she’s taken us to Key West, Lake Michigan and Winston, Florida and needless to say, we’d trade this winter’s day for any of these locales…
Do you have plans to escape the cold this month? We’d love to hear about them if you do!

This makes me want to plan an escape to a coastal spot. I love her playful color sense.
Hope you find some warmth in front of a roaring flower or sunny spot.

Beautiful inspiration! We have only just welcomed Autumn here in Sydney and I don’t mind a bit of cool weather, it’s been pretty hot this summer! I hope you are having a good week. Cxo
Yes we are planning a warm getaway….hopefully sooner than later. i can’t take winter anymore and cannot believe we are getting more snow. Feels like spring will never come. Love these rooms..they are so bright, cheery and uplifting. What a great vibe for a coastal home!
So much eye candy, there is no place like the ocean. We live in Calif. so no need to get away from the cold, but if I wanted some tropical weather it would be Hawaii and if I just want to go to the ocean in two hours I can be at Carmel, which is my favorite place in the world,
Keep warm, I am sending you a great big warm hug,

Get ready — sending this heavy snow over to you! Wishing I was in any one of those coastal photos!

I love coastal design style
like the gorgeous images you’ve shared above
because they make the spaces calm and serene and at the same time
inviting. Love the touches of blue.
