Ok, so the wreaths are ordered and the tree goes up this weekend and now Pantone has to come out with the 2012 Color of The Year and it’s Tangerine Tango!
We may not be ready for an all-out citrus christmas…
but could be talked into adding a tangerine touch here and there.
And if all else fails, we can always bake a tangerine dessert and watch Tangerine Bear!

I am adding slices of tangerine and citrus to my holidays too. Even some ruby red grapefruit!
Pucker up!

Too funny – I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tangerine tree – or bear for that matter. But you can imagine how pleased I was to see a version of orange named as color of the year!!
Except for clementines (which are such a holiday “Do” ), can’t say I’m feeling orange for Christmas. 🙂

Christmas for me is traditional reds and greens, but a tangerine is usually in the Christmas stockings!

Orange is always a favorite, but I think the pile of little clementines in my white ironstone compote and a few pomanders here and there is the right amount of orange this time of year. I’ll leave the tangerine tree to someone a little bit more brave. Love the tangerine ornament, though!
Orange you glad its the weekend? Hope yours is merry!
I love it! Much more fun than pink! xx
the tangerine ornament looks great! Happy weekend
Beautiful post, Carolyn!
My favorite color, FINALLY. I have always loved vermillion and this is the perfect sidekick. A little dab will do you.

Isn’t it a great Christmas colour? Looks wonderful with all that lovely greenery. I adore that garland up the staircase and am so thrilled I now have a staircase to decorate. Maybe next year it will be up to scratch.
That tangerine tree is probably the most awesome thing I have seen this Christmas! I think I definitely need to get me some citrus inspired decorations! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
If we can add a drop of pink into the orange so that it is a little softer, you can count me in! But I won’t trade my Christmas tree for an orange one! Hope your week is lovely!
