All work and no food makes us quite “hangry” so we’ve spent the better part of this week making sure we have lunch and dinner reservations for our upcoming trip to Charleston. Thanks to our blogging bestie and super duper travel advisor, Sandy, we had a great list of places fit for foodies to start with. While Husk, created by James Beard Award-winning chef Sean Brock, couldn’t take us until mid-May (and we called weeks ago!), we’re going to hang out at the Husk Bar next door and take our chances on a table.
A trip to Charleston isn’t complete without some fresh seafood so we’ll be heading to 167 Raw on East Bay Street known for their oysters and lobster rolls.
Brunch at The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s Island sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday, especially with a signature cocktail or two…
Lunches will be casual affairs and perhaps healthier as we head to Butcher & Bee for their lovingly crafted farm-to-table fare.
