Artel - Exquisitely Etched Glasses
With three hours to spare and aching feet, we hobbled over to the Jacob Javits Center on Wednesday to visit with some of our favorite companies. While Heather at Habitually Chic saw lots of orange this season, we spied big, beautiful blossoms (perhaps that’s because we work with flowers all day long!) From the classically pretty prints that Julian Mejia uses on his pillows and trays…

we were in flower heaven! And a big thank you to Matthew from M. Frederick for introducing us to the lovely Melinda, author of the blog Georgica Pond. How fun it was to meet like-minded design fanatics from the other side of the world!

hope you are home in some confy slippers with big floppy flowers on them now.
having traveled so much and to so many fashion fairs set up like football fields, it all comes rushing back -the dog tired feet and the exhileration of inspiration and new collections!
Love all the color!! Now if we could skip right over winter and head straight to spring, that would be perfect…we could start brainstorming about how and where we want to use all the fun bold color! I so can relate to “hobbling with sore feet”, isn’t that the worst? Same thing happened to me last year and it was PAINFUL, my feet felt like they were going to fall off! Love your take on all those gorgeous goodies!
Love this and thanks for taking us with you. Have a great weekend! xx
‘Yours truly’ took some great shots of all those pretty flower-must-haves! Now time for you to kick back and put your feet up for the weekend!
