Pretty Pansies on the Roof
With an inch of new snow falling this week (which thankfully melted within a day), we’re counting the days until our gardens and homes are full of blooms.

Drinks on the Terrace
These pictures of Wendy Valliere’s lovely home in Vermont (snapped by fabulous photographer, Michael Partenio) had us dreaming of warmer weather and evenings on the porch.

A Kitchen to Die For!

Swooning for the Swan
The article is a must read, especially since it was penned by none other than Stacy Kunstel, uber-stylist and editor and Michael’s love. In their spare time, this creative couple designs and hand-makes the most wonderful home accessories under the name Dunes & Duchess (they’re also the best NY Gift Fair neighbors we could ask for!)

A Creative Couple
Here wishing you all a wonderful, spring weekend in the garden or driving with the top down…

Absolutely gorgeous and daring!
Love those two! and that house!!! The kitchen! Makes me want to jump in the car and head up to my house in Vermont. I have never had such success gardening, as I have had in VT. The first year I had my house there, I think it in April, as I was leaving for three months on the road to shoot a food show, I literally threw some old packets of seed in a huge muddy spot where the previous owners had removed a clump birch. Figured it was better than throwing them out…anyhoo..I come home three months later to the most beautiful cutting garden ever. After all those years of watering, weeding, dividing, transplanting, etc… and here stood my piece de resistance and all I did was throw some random annual seeds in a bare patch of dirt.
Something about the soil and the air in Vermont, makes everything burst in to bloom. Wonder if that has anything to do with the four month growing season :^)
