A to Z with Julia B.

Men’s Monogrammed Handkerchiefs

Meeting up with the lovely Julia Berger (who happens to be our neighbor!), the talent behind the beautiful linens and accessories by Julia B., is always a treat and today we get to view her new melamine monogram collection (seen recently in Traditional Home) in person.

Marvelous Monogrammed Melamine

With an international childhood (growing up in Tokyo), an education in textiles (studying in Florence) and career in fashion (working at Donna Karan and Calvin Klein), it’s no wonder that Julia’s aesthetic combines Asian simplicity with European tradition.

Gorgeous in Green

Each monogram is more beautiful than the next and we’d be hard pressed to choose just one… (Fellow blogging friend Elizabeth from Pretty Pink Tulips did and you can see it here!)

Magnificent Monograms

Her whimsical cocktail napkins are so stylish that we may just have to invest in a few!

Party Pleasers

Julia’s custom linens and tabletop collections are now available online on her own website, as well as through high end stores and showrooms like Holland & Sherry.  Pretty soon, international shoppers will be introduced to this divine designer as she makes her debut at Maison & Objet this fall.  Who knows where Julia’s A, B, C’s will take her next?

Her things are amazing. The first time I discovered her line was when I was given a beautiful housewarming gift of cocktail napkins from her company. Needless to say they were treasured and still used today many years later. I can attest to the investment lasting! Nothing like a monogrammed anything….just gives it that extra special touch. Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing these gorgeous linens. I love her work.

I’m crazy for monograms and Julie B’s collection takes them to a whole other level of chic. And I can think of a few friends who would love a set of those cocktail napkins. Perhaps I should start my Christmas shopping early!
