Zebra Pizzazz

Rowayton-based interior designer Lynn Morgan‘s style can be summed up in just a couple of words: casually elegant, colorful and clean, livable with a “beachy sense of happiness.”

Living in Symmetry

Aqua and Gold Dining Room

Those last words were penned by none other than New England Home‘s Homes Editor Stacy Kunstel in a recent article in the magazine’s Fall 2011 Connecticut edition.

Beautiful Breakfast Nook

She and photographer Laura Moss spent a day shooting Lynn’s latest project in Southport, CT and the result is beautiful.  We love everything about this home – from the modern touches made by contemporary art and animal prints to the addition of nautical themes like  bold stripes in the kids’ playroom and splashes of turquoise throughout the house.

Family Room Fun

Wake Up, Stacy!

By the looks of this last image, Stacy must really take her work seriously…  Laura snapped the picture after a long day of shooting and it ended up in the magazine’s blog!

Pretty Pansies on the Roof

Pretty Pansies on the Roof

With an inch of new snow falling this week (which thankfully melted within a day), we’re counting the days until our gardens and homes are full of blooms.

Drinks on the Terrace

Drinks on the Terrace

These pictures of Wendy Valliere’s lovely home in Vermont (snapped by fabulous photographer, Michael Partenio) had us dreaming of warmer weather and evenings on the porch.

Swooning for the Swan

The article is a must read, especially since it was penned by none other than Stacy Kunstel, uber-stylist and editor and Michael’s love.  In their spare time, this creative couple designs and hand-makes the most wonderful home accessories under the name Dunes & Duchess (they’re also the best NY Gift Fair neighbors we could ask for!)
