Now that Sandy has passed and the 9″ of snow has melted, we can finally turn our attention to the holidays and with Thanksgiving just a week away, it’s none too soon! Given that this holiday really centers around food and therefore, the table, we like to go all out… Thankfully, we’ve got the flowers covered and we’re thinking of a plum and silver theme to coordinate with our Wine Country Bouquet.

That sounds like a fun event! This year headed to my sisters beach house for a beachy Thanksgiving….so it will be kind of nice to be a guest and not have to stress over all the details…but my time will come and Christmas will be here before i know it..and in fact the stress has already set in:) The toile plates and artichoke place holders are especially fabulous!

What a pretty table that will be! And the bouquet is beautiful. We’re at my parents this year, which our the annual tradition. My mother’s table is always simple and sweet – her delicious pie is what has everyone’s attention, including the family wired hair fox terrier. Can’t wait! XO

I will be dining at a friend’s house, but if I was decorating my own table, I would probably choose yellow and orange roses and go from there. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
